The Sun congratulates Eddie and Cindy Bryant on the birth of a daughter Feb. 13 at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington. She has been named Ashley Nicole. Grandparents include Si and Hazel Ashley, Florence, and the late Fred and Eva Bryant.

A program on the changing programs and rising costs of health insurance highlighted the February meeting of the Clark County Retired Teachers Association at the Holiday Inn. The president of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association, Bob Kelly, Frankfort, spoke. Kelly discussed the two phases of the Prescription Drug program which changed January 1, 1992.

“Women Patriots of the American Revolution” was the subject of a paper given by Miss Elizabeth Dieterich at the February meeting of the Hart Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution at Holly Rood.
