Gladys Ballard Lambert, 80, Winchester, widow of William Lambert, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 in her home.

She was born August 1, 1936 in Winchester to the late James and Nettie Morrison Ballard. Gladys was retired from Square D. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include 2 sons, Rich Jenks of Winchester and Ed Fortner (Rachel) of Berea, KY; a daughter, Vikki Lyn Embs of Winchester; 7 grandchildren, Christopher Brookshire, Ashalee Turner (Mike), Derek Mastin (Samantha) and Tanner Reed, Cindi Embs Epperson, all of Winchester and Tamara Fortner, Salvisa, KY and Kasey (Jamin) Mayrwieser of Versailles; 8 great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Reece and Landon Brookshire and Mathew Turner of Winchester and Isaiah, Noah and Hartlee Epperson, Taytum Mastin all of Winchester, KY, and Kaj Mayrwieser of Lexington, KY; one sister, Rachel (Paul) Riddell; brother –in-law, Joseph Lambert of Georgetown; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Tami Fortner Shortridge and Priscilla Jenks Lane; 5 sisters and 1 brother.

Services will be conducted at 10:00AM Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Pat Finley. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Derek Mastin, Rich Jenks, Stephen Green, Jim Pflug, Bro. Charlie Walton, and Zack Riddell.

Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2017 at Scobee Funeral Home from 6:00PM-8:00PM.
