Larry Dale Sams, 61, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Clark Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Tennessee on July 11, 1955, to Mary (Julian) Harris and the late William Sams. He was a United States Army Veteran and previously worked as a machinist for General Electric.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Joey Sams; two brothers, Alan (Kathy) Sams and Steven Sams; sister, Karen Sams; two step brothers, Chris (Jamie) Harris and Mitchell (Shelley) Harris; uncle, Ronnie Brooks; fiance, Debbie McConnell; special niece, Elaine Davis; several friends and family members.

Services will be at 6:00PM Friday, February 24, 2017, at Allansville Baptist Church by Pastor Ray Coates. Burial will be in Carter Cemetery, Whitley City, KY, at 1:00PM Saturday, February 25, 2017.

Visitation will be from 4:00PM until time of service on Friday at Allansville Baptist Church.
