CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Rodney Turner, 34, of Jackson, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence.

Reports

— At 12:30 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 108 Blueberry Lane concerning property damage and a person making threats.

— At 1:35 a.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 1999 Muddy Creek Road concerning a hit-and-run collision.

— At 2:32 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 9480 Mount Sterling Road after someone recovered a gun safe, holster and flashlight.

— At 10:45 a.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 1600 Crowe Ridge Road after two goats were killed by stray dogs.

Accidents

— At 7:55 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Kiddville Road in which Garrett E. Samuels of 105 Kittison Drive was driving east when he tried to avoid an oncoming vehicle, overcorrected and went off the road. His vehicle overturned and damaged a fence. Samuels was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 5:20 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Lexington Road in which Nicholas A. Willoughby of 242 Runnymeade Drive swerved to avoid an object in the road and collided with an oncoming vehicle, driven by Charles E. Huffman of 1135 Dale Drive. Both drivers and Willoughby’s passenger Trevon E. Jones of 72 Memorial Park, were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 6:47 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Veterans Memorial Parkway in which Tami L. Blackburn of Pikeville was traveling north and ran a red light, colliding with another vehicle driven by Sandra S. Hisle of 2370 Ecton Road. Hisle was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, emergency personnel responded to 20 general medical calls, three cardiac cases, two respiratory cases, one stroke and four seizures.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Robert G. Ferguson, 52, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence.

— Adrian D. Richardson, 38, was charged Saturday with illegal possession of a legend drug and was served two warrants.

— Andrew T. White, 33, was charged Sunday with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 7:07 a.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning a burglary from a car.

— At 3:15 p.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning a harassment complaint.

— At 3:16 p.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning a recovered operator’s license.

— At 6:05 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 53 Memorial Park concerning a disturbance.

— At 11:06 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 103 S. Highland St. concerning suspected drug activity.

— At 8:15 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 11 Hughes Ave. oncerning an assault.

— At 1:55 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 1960 Bypass Road for a theft complaint.

— At 9:19 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 144 E. Broadway St. concerning a theft of money and household items.

— At 2:02 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 61 Melbourne St. for a domestic disturbance.

— At 9:57 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 3482 Stamper Drive concerning a person causing problems.

Accidents

— At 8:58 a.m. Friday, officers responded to an injury accident on West Lexington Avenue in which Phyllis A. Tipton of 1136 Dale Drive was traveling east on Lexington Avenue when she said another vehicle ran the red light from Bloomfield Road and the two collided. The other driver, James W. Byrd of 175 1/2 Winn Ave., said he had the green light and the other car struck his as he turned left. Two witnesses said Tipton ran the red light. Tipton was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center after complaining of back pain.
