Republican Party re-organizational meeting
The Clark County Republican Party will hold its re-organizational meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday at Winchester City Hall. Registration starts at 8 a.m. All registered Republicans are invited to attend.
Community education move changed
Clark County Community Education has rescheduled its move from the office at 24 W. Lexington Ave. to 100 Vaught Road to Friday. While phone systems are moved over, the best contact for Community Education will be by email at clark.comm.ed@gmail.com.
Trust for Life bake sale
The Clark County Circuit Clerk’s Office will host a bake sale beginning at 8 a.m. Monday. All proceeds will go to the Trust for Life.
GRC SBDM meeting
The George Rogers Clark High School-based Decision-making Council will meet at 4 p.m. Monday in the SBDM conference room.
AARP offers tax preparation help
The AARP Tax-Aide Foundation program will offer free tax preparation, counseling and electronic filing Mondays and Tuesdays until April 18 at the Central Baptist Church annex, 101 W. Lexington Ave. Taxpayers should bring their 2015 tax return and all documents showing 2016 income. Those itemizing should also bring proof of taxes paid and contributions.
