— Ribbon cutting for new location of Republic State Mortgage, noon at 177 Shoppers Drive.

— Second Thursday at Bluegrass Heritage Museum, 6:30 p.m. Presenter will be Terry Foody about the cholera epidemic. Free with refreshments served.

FRIDAY, MARCH 10 

— Lenten fish fry, 5-8 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 248 S. Main St. Cost is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors or $5 for children. Includes fish, hush puppies, onion rings and coleslaw. Clam chowder sold separately. Dine in, carry out and drive through available. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus.
