— Yard and bake sale to benefit Lady Veterans Connect, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the former Trapp school, 11400 Irvine Road.

— Lenten fish fry, 5-8 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 248 S. Main St. Cost is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors or $5 for children. Includes fish, hush puppies, onion rings and coleslaw. Clam chowder sold separately. Dine in, carry out and drive through available. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus.

— Picnic in the Park fashion show and luncheon to benefit New Beginnings, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at First Church of God, 2500 Colby Road.

— Bark for Life of Clark County, a canine event to fight cancer, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rural King. Includes dog-related vendors, contests, demonstrations, drawings and prizes, photo opportunities and animal adoptions.
