Freda Lyons, 95, of Frenchburg, widow of James “Buck” Lyons passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017. She was born June 18, 1921 to the late Ben and Rosa Ella Wright Armitage.

She is survived by two sons, William J. Hood, Jr. of Florida and Barry Keith Lyons of Frenchburg, KY; one daughter Darlene Faye Hood Crain of Jeffersonville, KY; three brothers, Sharmin Kenneth Armitage of Winchester, KY, Jerry Wilber Armitage of Louisiana and Benny Clayton Armitage of Frenchburg, KY; two sisters, Audrey Conway of Frenchburg, KY and Lola Blevins of Frankfort, Ky; several grandchildren; and caregivers, Darlene Crain, Trina Hall, Stacy Crain, Donita Rogers and Benny and Emma Armitage.

There will be a Private Home Service at 2 PM, Friday, March 17, 2017 with burial following at Benson-Craig Cemetery. Taul Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
