An Ohio man returned to Clark County Thursday, six month after he allegedly robbed, kidnapped and raped a Clark County woman.

Darvin Johnson, 35, of Akron, Ohio, was arrested recently on a warrant filed by Winchester Police in September 2016.

According to court documents, Johnson allegedly went to a woman’s house in Winchester on Sept. 21, 2016, and demanded money. In the warrant, the woman said Johnson threatened her 3-year-old son and choked her before grabbing a kitchen knife and threatening her “not to do anything stupid.”

She told police Johnson made her drive to Central Bank and withdraw money, which he then took. She said they returned to her residence where he allegedly raped her.

Police said Johnson lived in Winchester at the time, but subsequently left the state.

The warrant charging Johnson with first-degree rape, first-degree robbery and kidnapping was served Wednesday night at the Clark County Detention Center. According to the jail website, Johnson is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.
