Republican Party welcomes member of RNC

The Clark County Republican Party will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at Golden Corral. Guest speaker is Mike Duncan, former chairman of the National Republican Party and current member of the Republican National Committee. All registered Republicans are welcome to attend.

The Clark County Ag Development Council will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, April 3, at the Clark County Extension Office, 1400 Fortune Drive.

Homemakers council to meet April 4

The Clark County Homemakers Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, at the Clark County Extension Office.

School board to host work session 

The Clark County Board of Education will meet for a work session at 6 p.m. today in the board room at Central Office, 1600 W. Lexington Ave. The meeting is open to the public. Agenda items include discussion of demographic and enrollment projections and updated salary schedules.

Fiscal Court sets first budget workshop

The Clark County Fiscal Court will have its first budget workshop meeting at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Clark County Courthouse.

Hydrant flushings continue Wednesday  

Winchester Municipal Utilities will be flushing hydrants in the following areas Wednesday: Alabama Street, Bartram Court, Bellbrook Lane, Boone Avenue, East Broadway Street, Buckner Street, Bypass Road, Calloway Street, Chaucer Court, Croxton Way, Elizabeth Street, Flanagan Station, French Avenue, Frontier Way, Georgia Street, Hamilton Street, East Hickman Street, South Highland Street, Hospital Drive, Kentucky Street, East Lexington Avenue, West Lexington Avenue, Mackay Avenue, South Main Street, Mallory Lane, South Maple Street, Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Memorial Park, Muddy Creek Road, Newcastle Lane, Pioneer Drive, Prescott Lane, Redwood Court, Shoppers Drive, Shoppers Village Plaza, Smith Avenue, Sturbridge Lane, Tremont Lane, Valentine Court, Wellington Way and Winchester Plaza.
