Melvin Paul Epperson, 77, husband of Barbara Epperson, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017, at his home in Mt. Sterling, KY. Melvin was born on February 5, 1940, to the late Vernon and Beulah Newkirk Epperson. He was a member of the Ruckerville Church of Christ in Clark County, KY. Melvin was retired from Leggett and Platt.

Other survivors include two sons, Gary Keith and Leonard Alan Apperson, both of Clark County; grandchildren, Matthew, Nicole, Christian J., and Victoria Epperson; one great granddaughter, Juri Cook; one brother, Randall (Karen) Epperson; one sister, Linda Ragland; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Lewis Epperson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM, Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Pharris Hill Christian Church, 7550 Irvine Road, Winchester, KY 40391, by Christian and Alan Epperson. Burial will follow in Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Scobee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
