CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Ernie L. Fox, 48, of 109 Woodford Estates, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

— Virgil Turner, 46, of Lexington, was charged Thursday with no operator’s license, failure to produce insurance card, no registration receipt, sell or transfer of a simulated controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Reports

— At 12:07 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to 3076 Water Works Road after someone damaged an all-terrain vehicle.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Wednesday, emergency personnel responded to seven general medical calls.

— At 8:25 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 360 Mount Sterling Road. It was a false alarm.

— At 8:49 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a smoke detector sounding at 300 C.G. Stephenson Drive. It was a false alarm.

— At 8:52 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to 250 Oxford Drive for a possible downed power line. It was a cable line and was removed from the road.

— At 8:56 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to 23 Bel Air Ave. concerning damage to a home from a neighbor’s fallen tree.

— At 8:56 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to 235 Carolina Ave. concerning fallen bricks from a fire scene.

— At 9:01 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to 1188 Fulton Road concerning a tree against a power line. Firefighters stood by until Kentucky Utilities personnel arrived.

— At 9:04 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to 415 Magnolia St. concerning two broken utility poles with lines on the ground. KU employees were requested to respond.

— At 9:08 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 4000 Corporate Drive for an alarm sounding. It was a false alarm.

— At 9:12 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 300 C.G. Stephenson Drive. It was a false alarm.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Tracy Washington, 32, was charged Wednesday with no or expired registration receipt, disregarding a traffic control device, resisting arrest, second-degree fleeing or evading police (two counts) and was served a warrant.

— At 2:47 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road concerning a theft.

— At 12:35 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning fraudulent charges on the caller’s bank account.

— At 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning an assault.

— At 4:33 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Beacon of Hope, 850 Bypass Road, for confiscated drugs and paraphernalia.

— At 4:56 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 523 Kiwi Drive for a domestic disturbance.

— At 5:32 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 225 Oxford Drive concerning a stolen PlayStation 4.

— At 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning harassing text messages.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to 2623 Grimes Mill Road for an investigation.

— At 8:54 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 5250 Revilo Road.
