SATURDAY, APRIL 8

— Spring into Downtown, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Easter bunny will visit 2 to 4 p.m. Come shop sales of your favorite downtown businesses.

— Civitan Easter egg hunt, 2 p.m., College Park. Bring your own basket. Treat bags for all children up to 12 years old. Prizes for winning eggs.

TUESDAY, APRIL 11

— Winchester GTE/Sylvania/Osram/UAW retirees lunch meeting, 11:30 a.m. at the Blue Isle in Winchester. All retirees and former employees of the Winchester Sylvania plant are welcome.

— First Settlers meeting, 6 p.m. at First Settlers House on Old Boonesboro Road for residents of southern Clark County.

— Clark County Writers Group meeting, 6 p.m., in the Clark County Public Library conference room.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 12

THURSDAY, APRIL 13

— Chamber of Commerce breakfast, 8-9:30 a.m. at Clark County Health Department, 400 Professional Ave.

— Second Thursday at Bluegrass Heritage Museum, 6:30 p.m. Presentation will be about the 100th anniversary of the U.S. entry into World War I. Free with refreshments served.

FRIDAY, APRIL 14

— “Rediscover Leeds,” grand reopening of Leeds Center for the Arts, 7 p.m.

SATURDAY, APRIL 15

— Fifth Annual Underwater Easter Egg Hunt, 1 p.m for ages 6 and younger, 2 p.m. for ages 7 to 14, at Winchester-Clark County Parks and Recreation. Cost for pre-registration through April 13 is $5 for members and $8 for non-members. Cost after April 13 is $12 for all participants. Call 744-9554 for more information.
