The four candidates for the 73rd district state representative seat (incumbent Rep. Paul Richardson, Drew Graham, Lin Pasley and Bobby Haggard) spoke to the Winchester Rotary Club at its meeting Friday. The district includes all of Clark County and four Powell County precincts.

William “Kenny” Burns has returned to his home, 10 Kentucky St., following vascular surgery at the Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington.

Sherry Newton, 527 N. Main St., told Winchester police a gold necklace and bracelet, valued at $109, were taken from her home at approximately 2 p.m. Thursday. Police recovered the items at a local pawn shop at 5:04 p.m.
