CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Malisha Payne, 46, of 428 McClure Road, was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree assault.

Reports

— At 2:19 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 3076 Water Works Road concerning the theft of a chain saw.

Accidents

— At 3:44 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Iron Works Road in which Ida Frailey of Clay City was traveling east when she lost control of her vehicle, slid into a ditch and overturned. She was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Monday, emergency personnel responded to nine general medical calls, five cardiac cases, six respiratory cases and one overdose.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 4:13 p.m. Monday, firefighters were called to 7780 Four Mile Road for a possible illegal burn.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Reports

— At 4:56 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 126 Shoppers Drive for an alarm sounding.

— At 9:16 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 8 S. Highland St. after a purse was recovered.

— At 9:11 p.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning an assault.

— At 9:18 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 101 Flynn Ave. concerning a person causing a disturbance.
