Danny Birch, 69, of Winchester, husband to Susan Mobley Birch, passed away Wednesday at the Clark Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Winchester, KY, on August 17, 1947, to the late Charlie and Lucille Raney Birch. He was retired from Rockwell International after 25 years of service and attended Christview Christian Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Steve Birch, Chuck (Venessa) Birch and Timothy (Jessica) Mobley, brother, Kenneth “Buddy” (Abbie) Birch, step-brothers, Doug (Linda) Christopher and Randall (Joyce) Christopher, sister-in-law, Teresa Mobley (David), 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10am at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St, with Forrest Hahn presiding. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5p-7p at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Danny Hall, James Reed, David Clem, Timothy Mobley and Kevin Birch.

Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
