A preliminary county budget of $4,234,884 for fiscal year 1993 was submitted to Clark County Fiscal Court magistrates at their meeting Wednesday morning.

County Treasurer Jean Logsdon told The Sun the submitted budget does not include figures for the East Clark County Water District nor does it include externally-funded programs that may be approved later.

Ruth Campbell, a representative of the Student Council at George Rogers Clark High School, presented the students Choice Teacher of the Year Award to vocational instructor Steve Crosby.

The Clark County chapter of the American Heart Association will hold a golf scramble Monday, April 27 at the Winchester Country Club.
