— Main Street Clean Sweep in downtown Winchester, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sponsored by Bluegrass Greensource. Volunteers should meet at City Hall and can come at any time during the event. Bluegrass Greensource provides participants with at T-shirt, bags, gloves and litter grabbers.

— Hiking for the Homeless, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Red River Gorge. Beautiful 5-mile hike to Whittleton Arch. Cost is $25 per person, which includes a T-shirt if registered by April 30. All proceed benefit the Clark County Homeless Coalition.
