— The Sun congratulates Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Schwendeman, Winchester, on the birth of a son Thursday at the Clark Regional Medical Center. He has been named Daniel Martin.

— Joe Estepp of Winchester thought he’d snagged his six-pound test line on something last Saturday at Cave Run Lake while fishing for crappie.

He had: a 41-1/2 pound flathead catfish. And, more than an hour later, he and his fishing partner Keith Johnson of North Middleton pulled the 45-inch-long monster from the lake.

— The 75-voice Worship Choir of Central Baptist Church will present a congregational worship celebration, “The Story,” at 7 p.m. Sunday in the church sanctuary.
