Ernestine Gentry Carter, 75, widow of David Carter, died Saturday, April 15, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Irvin and Helen Blythe. She was born in a Clark County, a member of Clark United Methodist Church and retired from Osram Sylvania, Winchester.

She is survived by a son, Irvin Carter; daughters Gail Carter and Anna Gatewood; aunt Beatrice (Michael) Thompson; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon with funeral at noon Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Clark United Methodist Church on West Broadway.

Adams Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Eunice Rapier Jones, 74, widow of Walter Ray Jones, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at her home. A native of Winchester, KY, she was born on January 30, 1943, to the late John Raggins and Victoria Gambrel Rapier. She was a homemaker and a member of the VFW.
