CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Reports

— At 1:57 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to 2365 Dry Fork Road concerning a theft of an industrial snake from an outbuilding.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, emergency personnel responded to 20 general medical calls, two cardiac cases, one respiratory case, one diabetic case, one seizure and one overdose.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 12:12 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at West Lexington Avenue and Carol Road.

— At 1:57 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 5353 Bybee Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Jacob Tyler Combs, 22, was charged Thursday with speeding, driving under the influence, failure to maintain insurance, failure to notify state of address change and was served a warrant.

Reports

— At 12:01 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 900 Bypass Road concerning a stolen purse from a vehicle.

At 12:15 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 224 W. Hickman St. concerning a theft during the night.

— At 1:30 p.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning a stolen  bicycle.

— At 3:50 p.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning a person attempting to use stolen checks.

— At 4:34 p.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning a theft of jewelry and cash.

— At 6:22 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 27 E. Washington St. concerning an assault.

— At 7:26 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 613 Westwood Drive concerning a theft of a bicycle.

Accidents

— At 3:56 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to an injury accident on West Lexington Avenue in which Filomena Aversano of 1900 Dry Fork Road was turning left onto South Bloomfield Road. Aversano said she thought the other vehicle was slowing and she had time to make the turn. The other driver, Michael Young of 1135 Dale Drive, said he could not stop in time to avoid the collision. A passenger in Aversano’s vehicle, Abigal Martinez, was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 2:15 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to an injury accident on Bypass Road in which Roy L. Bates of 115 Ashley Drive, was turning left into a parking lot and his vehicle was struck by one driven by Lola M. Green of 7 Sylvania Ave. Green said the other vehicle turned in front of her. Green was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
