Hospital to celebrate 100th anniversary 

Robert Parker, new chief executive officer of Clark Regional Medical Center, will be joined by leaders from LifePoint Health for a community celebration of Clark Regional’s 100th anniversary from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 10.  In addition, CRMC will host a community health fair as part of the week-long celebration, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13. Both events are at CRMC, 175 Hospital Drive.

GRC accepting SBDM nominations

George Rogers Clark High School will be accepting parent nominations for the school-based decision-making council through Friday, May 5. Nominations can be made by email to kathie.sosby@clark.kyschools.us. The election will be from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at the school.

Cannabinoids educational meeting set for Monday 

MASON, located at 70 S. Main St., will host an educational meeting on cannabinoids at 6 p.m. Monday. The meeting will feature a presentation from Kelli Cremeans, APRN independent Kannaway ambassador. Learn about the benefits of CBD and hemp oil when added to your daily routine.

Retired school lunchroom managers to meet 

The Retired School Lunchroom Managers will meet for a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Jade Garden.

GRC SBDM to meet 

The George Rogers Clark High School-based Decision-making council will meet at 4 p.m. Monday in the SBDM conference room at the school.

Campbell YSC meeting Monday

There will be a Campbell Junior High School Youth Service Center meeting at 11 a.m. Monday at the school.

City Commission meeting rescheduled 

The Winchester Board of Commissioners meetings scheduled for May 2 has been canceled and rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. May 9 in the commissioner chambers of city hall.

Youth fishing day May 13

The Clark County Fish and Game Club’s annual youth fishing day will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 13 at the clubhouse on Water Works Road. The event is free and open to all youth 15 and younger. Lunch and beverages will be provided. For more information, call Lee Kerr at 771-5639.

Bluegill tourney May 20

The Clark County Fish and Game Club will hold an open bluegill tournament from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday May 20. The event, which is open to anyone 16 years of age and older, will be at the Carroll Ecton Reservoir, 1255 Water Works Road. For more information, call Lee Kerr at 771-5639.
