The Clark County Fiscal Court Fund Committee has announced its giving plan for 2017.

Any nonprofit organization serving Clark County is eligible to apply. Applications will be available June 1 online at http://www.clarkcoky.com/ and http://teach.clarkschools.net/Depts/CommEd/ and at the Clark County judge-executive’s office in the Courthouse, as well as distributed via the Clark County Human Services Council listserv, Chamber of Commerce e-blast, and the mayor’s e-line.

Applications are due back by 4 p.m. on Aug. 1, and must be delivered in person to the judge-executive’s office. Applications will be disqualified if not hand-delivered by Aug. 1. Applications will not be accepted via email, fax or U.S. mail. Requesters must sign and date the sign-in sheet in the judge-executive’s office as proof of delivery.

A Grant Report Form is included with the application, for agencies who received funding in December 2016 to report their expenses to date.

The Fiscal Court Fund Committee will review the applications in August and September, meeting with any requesting organizations as they determine necessary. Their findings will be presented to the Fiscal Court in September and grants will be awarded no later than Nov. 1.

All grantees will be required to complete a Grant Report Form near the end of the funding period. This will help determine funding for the next grant year.
