— A Winchester woman was listed in fair condition at Clark Regional Medical Center this morning after a car wreck at 11:50 p.m. Friday. She is one of five people injured in nine auto accidents reported to law enforcement agencies this weekend.
— Harry Seibert, Winchester, a sophomore at Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, has received an award from the University of Kentucky Air Force ROTC Detachment. Seibert received a physical training award and was named cadet of the semester. He was one of six cadets honored at the detachments annual Dining Out banquet.
— Carl Reese, 7030 Mt. Sterling Road, called the Clark County Fire Department at 10:22 p.m. Saturday and reported lightning had struck his home. County firefighters detected a smell of smoke in the house and some shorted-out wires in the basement.
