Grace Bible celebrating homecoming

Grace Bible Church will celebrate its 13th year in God’s service in this community with a anniversary and homecoming May 7 during the morning service with dinner on the grounds after the service.

Marietta Bible College Choir to perform at Landmark Baptist 

The Marietta Bible College Choir will present a program of sacred musica at 7 p.m. today at Landmark Baptist Church. The choir is made up of students from all over the world. Myron K. Guiler is pastor of the Marietta Bible Center Church and founder and president of Marietta Bible College. Pastor Jim Muncie invites the public to attend.

First Presbyterian Sunday services 

First Presbyterian Church, located at 130 Windridge Drive, will have worship services at 10:30 a.m. Worship is traditional and lively, sharing God’s word through song, prayer and preaching. Come dressed casual or formal, but more importantly, come expecting to be moved by the spirit. All are welcome. Pastor is the Rev. Ryan Bradney. Revival at Landmark Baptist starts Sunday 

Landmark Baptist Church, located at 1223 Ironworks Road, invites the community to its spring revival led by evangelist David Frazie. The revival will begin with services at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday and continues with evening services at 7 p.m. nightly Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Pastor is Jim Muncie.

Handbell ensemble visiting First Christian Church 

The Alluring Community Handbell Ensemble invites the community to its spring concert, “Jazz Hands with Bells!” The concert will feature jazz classics and other favorites presented in an unusual style — with handbells and chimes. There will also be a special debut performance by The Music Makers, the graduating class of the new children’s chimes ensemble, a pilot program that was launched this spring by Alluring.

Performances will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 8, at First Church, 24 E. Hickman St., at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 8, at Crestwood Christian Church, 1882 Bellefonte Drive, Lexington. Tickets are available at the door for $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12.

Conversation and Communion

Conversation and Communion (Emmanuel Episcopal Church) will meet at at 5:30 p.m. each Tuesday beginning May 2.

Celebrate Recovery meetings on Tuesdays

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the eight beatitudes, the 12 steps and their biblical comparisons. This program is for any hurt, hang-up or habit. There is childcare available for ages newborn to 4 years and Celebration Place, a pre-covery program for ages 5 to 12. The meetings are every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Calvary Christian Church, 15 Redwing Drive. The Landing is a support program based on the eight beatitudes for teens struggling with issues such as family relationships, food issues, being bullied, low self-esteem, drugs, alcohol, cutting or behavior problems.
