— As plans shape up for Clark County’s bicentennial, a Winchester woman can rest on her laurels for her contributions to the county’s 175th anniversary celebration in 1967.

Mrs. William G. (Margaret B.) Kagin served as chairperson of the event, described by many as the best in the state.

— The Winchester Fire Department responded to an outside rubbish fire at 5:31 a.m. today at Memorial Park. The fire was extinguished.

— Winchester police reported the windshields of three vehicles, parked along Hillcrest Manor Drive Thursday night, had been shot with a pellet gun.
