Mary Conkwright, 81, of Winchester, widow of Sherman D. Frazier, passed away Monday at her home. A native of Clark County, she was born March 20, 1936, to the late Johnny Conkwright and Anna Maude Frazier Jamison. She retired after 30 years from AT&T. She was a member of the Trinity Church of God and attended the Ark of Mercy Church of God. She is survived by nieces, Teresa Davis, Donna Willoughby and Melissa Fish, brother, Johnny “Conky” Conkwright Jr, several great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and great-great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by niece, Lucinda Markland, siblings, Paul Edward Conkwright, Ramonia Lee Townsend and Howard Wayne Conkwright. Funeral services will be Friday at 1pm at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St, with Bro. Billy Keller and Rev. Larry Deckard presiding. Visitation will be Friday from 11am until the hour of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bobby Osborne, Robbie Skaggs, Earl Markland, Ricky Willoughby, Mikey Cracraft, Larry Bush, David Lucas, Danial Jones and Brent Crump. Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Fountain, Allen Frazier, Danny Townsend, Robert White, Randall Townsend, Cledis C.D. Rice and Faryon “Buddy” Berryman.
