CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Reports
— At 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to 6588 Combs Ferry Road after someone broke into a residence and took jewelry, medication and coins.
Accidents
— At 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 98-mile marker in which a Peterbilt tractor-trailer driven by John A. Lingenfelter of Youngsville, North Carolina, went into the median while passing a car. Lingenfelter lost control of the truck and it overturned, blocking the eastbound lanes. A second vehicle, Marvin G. Scott of 9 Sixth St., said he could not stop in time and struck the axles on the trailer. Both drivers were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At 2:48 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 12150 Irvine Road.
— At 3:34 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 97-mile marker.
— At 7:19 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 120 April Way.
— At 8:34 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 90-mile marker.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— On Tuesday, emergency personnel responded to 22 general medical calls, four cardiac cases, one diabetic case and one overdose.
 — At 12:54 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 30 Beckner St. It was a false alarm.
WINCHESTER POLICE
Charged
— John Anthony Baker, 20, was charged Tuesday with second-degree possession of a controlled substance.
— Kimberly L. Cunningham, 54, was charged Tuesday with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Reports
— At 12:06 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 101 N. Highland St. concerning an assault.
— At 2:11 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 419 E. Washington St. after someone in a passing truck threw a rock and damaged another vehicle.
— At 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 101 N. Main St. for a forgery complaint.
— At 10:42 a.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a stolen ring.
— At 1:09 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report about not receiving a title after purchasing a vehicle.
— At 4:17 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 1 Carol Road concerning a person offering to sell narcotics. John Anthony Baker was arrested and charged with second-degree possession of a controlled substance.
— At 6:31 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 245 Carolina Ave. concerning a domestic disturbance.
— At 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 951 Bypass Road after a person used a stolen credit card.
— At 8:03 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a recovered wallet.
— At 9:53 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 225 Oxford Drive after someone tried to break into an apartment.
