WPD captain speaks at Rotary meeting

Capt. James Hall of the Winchester Police Department recently spoke to the Winchester Rotary Club about the Citizens Police Academy and other initiatives the department is doing to keep the community safe. A free program designed to educate citizens about what law enforcement does here, the police academy begins after Labor Day and runs throughout the fall. Classes include patrol functions, equipment demonstrations, defensive tactics, investigative techniques, simulations, firearms training and more.
