Forrest Nance

On May 12, 2017, Forrest Nance, formerly of Florence, Alabama departed this life to go home with the Lord. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church where he worshipped faithfully until incapacitated by illness. He was a member of the Broadway Six Acapella Group. He was employed by and retired from Hudson Firestone.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Clara Nance, five children: Jesse Nance, Sr. (Brenda) Georgetown, KY, Brenda Lyle, Corlin Baker (William), Timothy Nance (Arlene), and Treida Nance all of Winchester, KY. Two sisters Mattie Fuqua and Pearlene Fuqua of Florence, AL, one brother Earl Fuqua (Pattie) of Lima, OH. He had 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and two special friends Susan Nithold Harmon and Carlise Nithold of Florida. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Broadway Baptist Church, 121 West Broadway, Winchester, Kentucky. Visitation 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. with the Funeral Services beginning at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Clarmont Memorial Gardens, Mt. Sterling Road, Winchester, Kentucky.
