The following criminal cases were resolved in Clark Circuit Court May 11 with Judge William Clouse presiding.

— Brandon Hocker, second-degree assault, sentenced to five years; terroristic threatening, sentenced to 12 months concurrent.

— Brandon Hocker, second-degree assault of a police office officer, sentenced to 10 years consecutive to previous cases.

— Shari Cox, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, recommended five years; first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, recommended one year concurrent; sentencing June 1.

— Clayton Gene Hampton, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument (two counts), pleaded guilty, sentenced to one year concurrent.

— Lee F. Johnson, first-degree fleeing or evading police, sentenced to one year; driving under the influence, fined, 30-day license suspension; third-degree assault, sentenced to two years and a day concurrent; first-degree wanton endangerment, sentenced to one year concurrent.

— Ricky W. Napier, theft by unlawful taking, sentenced to one year.

— Carissa R. Stephens, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two counts), sentenced to five years concurrent; first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, sentenced to five years consecutive; second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, sentenced to five years concurrent; probated to drug court for three years.

— Cortez Townsend, second-degree criminal abuse, sentenced to three years and one day probation, not to be around children younger than 16.

— Mitchell Gene Chapman, first-degree sodomy, dismissed.

— Sean Nathaniel Howard, probation violation, stipulated to violation, probation revoked.
