A Winchester man agreed to a 25-year prison sentence after having sexual relations with two different juveniles during the course of two years.

Charles Davis, 43, of 722 Berry Court, was charged with multiple counts of first-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree sodomy and incest when he was arrested last year.

In Clark Circuit Court Thursday, Davis admitted to having intercourse and sexual contact with the minors between 2014 and 2016 while saying he didn’t really remember what happened.

According to the terms of the plea agreement, the two first-degree sodomy charges were amended to first-degree sexual abuse. Davis would serve 20 years each for first-degree rape and incest, and five years each for the four counts of first-degree sexual abuse, which will run concurrently with each other but consecutive to the other charges.

A second count of incest was dismissed.

Davis will also serve 85 percent of his rape sentence before becoming eligible to meet the parole board. He will also have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life and complete five years of supervised release.

He is scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 3. He remains in the Clark County Detention Center.
