WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Kevin Everman, 45, was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree assault.

— Francis Prewitt Witham, 40, was charged Wednesday with careless driving, driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license and driving under the influence (third offense).

— Micah K. Israel, 18, was charged Thursday with disregarding a stop sign and possession of marijuana.

— Cody R. Jones, 26, was charged Thursday with second-degree assault.

— Mark D. Mooney, 53, was charged Thursday with second-degree assault.

— William Aligajuan Dewayne Young, 18, was charged Thursday with carrying a concealed deadly weapon.

Reports

— At 2:26 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 130 E. Broadway St. concerning an assault. Kevin Everman was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.

— At 2:36 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 408 W. Washington St. for a trespassing complaint.

— At 4:14 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 61 Melbourne St. for a domestic disturbance.

— At 5:08 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 523 Kiwi Drive concerning a theft from a truck.

— At 10:38 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 30 Wheeler Ave. concerning a person hearing gunshots.

— At 12:09 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 32 Sylvania St. for an open 911 call with sounds of a fight in the background. Cody Jones and Mark Mooney were both arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

— At 2:39 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 102 Fitch Ave. concerning a theft of a firearm.

— At 3:11 a.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning the caller finding several people in his house.

— At 11:22 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to Red Roof Inn, 1100 Interstate Drive, after a handgun in a holster was found in a room.

— At 3:06 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 276 Vaught Road concerning a stolen bicycle.

— At 3:09 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning an assault.

— At 7:19 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 27 Wheeler Ave. after a window was damaged.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 7:45 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Trapp Goffs Corner Road.

— At 4:43 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 3601 Combs Ferry Road, but the call was canceled.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, emergency personnel responded to 16 general medical calls, two cardiac cases, one respiratory case, two seizures and one overdose.
