Winchester residents make Dean’s List at UC

Rebecca Miracle and Lola Bass, both of Winchester, were named to the Dean’s List at University of the Cumberlands for the spring 2017 semester.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 and be in good academic standing.

Four Winchester residents were among 53 students recognized for academic excellence at the Morehead State University College of Science academic awards banquet May 4.

— Seth Turner received the Outstanding Biomedical Sciences Student award.

— Clay Dixon received the Outstanding Department of Kinesiology, Health and Imaging Sciences Graduate Student award.

— Haley Tye received the Outstanding Health Promotion Student award.

— Alexandria Cantrell received the Outstanding Junior Neuroscience Student award.
