Venus Ann Hedger Lane, 78, of Richmond, went to her Lord, Saturday, May 20, 2017. She was the wife of Donald Lane and the daughter of the late Chester and Virgie Hedger. She was member of Rolling Hills Church of Christ.

Other survivors include a son, David (Vickie) Moore, Winchester; a brother, Joe (Dainty) Hedger, Mt. Sterling; a sister Phyllis Carpenter, Mt. Sterling; five grandchildren, Chris (Jessica) and Steven ( Amie) Moore, Winchester, Mike (Amy) Lane, Leah (Zach)Voog and Nicole (Chris) Simonson; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11:00AM Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Scobee Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Murphy and Bro. Eddie Ingram officiating. Burial will be in Winchester Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Chris and Steven Moore, Jeff and Calvin Keller, Mike Lane and Zach Voog. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Hedger, Paul Lane, Lewis Lane, Harold Lane, Marion Lane and Kathy Reynolds. Visitation will be from 9:30AM until time of service.
