The following criminal cases were resolved in Clark Circuit Court May 18, 2017, with Judge Jean Chenault Logue presiding.

— Charles Davis, first-degree rape, pleaded guilty, recommended 20 years; first-degree sodomy (two counts), amended to first-degree sexual abuse, pleaded guilty, recommended five years concurrent; first-degree sexual abuse (two counts), pleaded guilty, recommended five years concurrent; incest, pleaded guilty, recommended 20 years; incest, dismissed; sentencing Aug. 3.

— Rodney G. Butler II, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, sentenced to two years and one day.

— Cory J. Cox, fourth-degree assault (two counts), sentenced to 60 days concurrent; attempted second-degree burglary, sentenced to 60 days concurrent; resisting arrest, sentenced to 60 days concurrent; public intoxication, sentenced to 60 days concurrent; terroristic threatening, sentenced to 60 days concurrent.

— Cory J. Cox, first-degree criminal mischief, sentenced to five years, restitution, probated for four years, complete long-term drug treatment program.

— Richard L. Hopkins, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance sentenced to five years; trafficking in marijuana, sentenced to one year concurrent.

— Kelly Hopkins, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (three counts), sentenced to three years concurrent, probated for three years; first-degree promoting contraband, sentenced to three years probation, must complete drug court.

— Ralph C. Whiteman, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, sentenced to one year; complicity to trafficking in marijuana, sentenced to one year concurrent; convicted felon in possession of a firearm, sentenced to one year concurrent.

— Linda C. Whiteman, convicted felon in possession of a firearm, sentenced to one year, probated for two years.

— Jerry Allen Miller, second-degree assault, sentenced to five years; first-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed.

— Clarence A. Turner, second-degree burglary, sentenced to five years, probated for five years, complete drug court.

— Raul Villa, first-degree sexual abuse (two counts), sentenced to two years concurrent; resisting arrest, sentenced to 30 days concurrent.

— Roger C. Estes, probation violation, stipulated to violation, terminated from drug court, sentenced to two years.
