GRC council meeting Monday

The George Rogers Clark High School school-based decision-making council will meet at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the SBDM conference room.

School board to meet Wednesday

The Clark County Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Central Office, 1600 W. Lexington Ave. On the agenda for the special meeting is discussion of a Health Occupation Students of American trip to Orlando June 21-25 to attend the National HOSA Conference. The meeting is open to the public. 

County pay grade meeting

The Clark County classification and pay grade committee will meet at 8 a.m. Thursday in the Clark County Courthouse conference room.

Winchester Licensing Board meeting

The Winchester Licensing Board will meet at 5 p.m. Monday to discuss three businesses operating without a license. The meeting will be at Winchester City Hall.

Class of 1946 meeting June 7

The Clark County High School class of 1946 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Frisch’s on Bypass Road.

Comprehensive plan meeting in a box offered

The Planning and Community Development Department is offering a “Meeting in a Box” to discuss the vision and goals for the 2017 Winchester-Clark County Comprehensive Plan. Any interested organization, party or group can host a meeting. The last meeting date is June 16. Clark GOP meeting

The Clark County Republican Party will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at Golden Corral. Guest speaker is Tyler White, president of the Kentucky Coal Association. All registered Republicans are encouraged to attend.

Class of 1948 meeting June 7

The Clark County High School class of 1948 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Winchester Country Club.

Fix a feral cat meeting

A Fix a Cat Campaign meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Clark County Public County. The program will be about establishing a low-cost spay and neuter clinic in Clark County and writing grants followed by a question and answer session. For more information, email homelesscats.13@gmail.com.

Community open house scheduled at Holly Rood 

There will be a community open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 11, at Holly Rood, 28 Beckner St. Everyone is welcome. 

Class of 1977 reunion scheduled 

The George Rogers Clark High School Class of 1977 40th reunion will be June 23-24. There will be a get-together at 5:30 p.m. June 23 at Woody’s Sports Bar & Grill. The reunion will be at 6:30 p.m. June 24 at the Four Points Sheraton Lexington. Cost is $40 per person. For more information visit k4mnf3.wixsite.com/grc40threunion.
