Rodrick Shelton, 85, widower of Bonnie Fay Shelton, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at University of Kentucky Medical Center.

He was born on July 23, 1931, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Marsh Shelton, in Evarts, Kentucky. He was an iron worker, a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War and a three year POW. 

Survivors include his son, David (Patti) Shelton; four grandchildren, John (Christy) Shelton and their children John John, Katie and Sullivan, Melissa (Travis) Cravens and their children, Caitlin, Lauren and Brooklyn, Amanda Shelton and David Shelton.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Rodney Stephen Shelton.

Services will be at 12:00PM, Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Scobee Funeral Home by Dr. Ed Mesta. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM until time of service.
