Rev. Eugene Hampton, 86, husband of the late Phyllis L. Hampton for 64 years, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

He was a farmer and Pastor, which he served numerous churches in his 50 years of ministry.

He is survived by one daughter, Wydine Cruse (Kiayam Ginter), three grandchildren, Lee (Elizabeth) Cruse, Aaron (Tara) Cruse, and Nikki Cruse. Six great grandchildren, Jacob, Lauryn, Hagan, Lake, Ryder and Kennedy.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. Lowell Rice. Burial will be in Stone Family Cemetery in Winchester, KY.

Pallbearers will be Lee Cruse, Aaron Cruse, Jacob Wheeler, Hagan Blanton, Bobby Hampton, Nathan Whitaker. Honorary Pallbearers; Jimmy Wills, Dr. Joseph Ott and Regina Prewitt, caregivers; Roy Burke, Shirley Browning, Suzie Cahal, Amanda Phillips and Stefanie Willoughby.

Visitation will be held at the Scobee Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
