First Presbyterian Sunday services 

First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will have worship services at 10:30 a.m. This week’s message is “Finding Christ in ‘The Devil’s Music.’” The Scriptures are Matthew 11:16-19 and Romans 7:15-25a. Worship is traditional and lively, sharing God’s word through song, prayer and preaching. Come dressed casual or formal, but more importantly, come expecting to be moved by the spirit. All are welcome. Pastor is the Rev. Ryan Bradney. For more information, call 744-3722.

‘Seeds and Weeds’ at Salem

It’s gardening season, and this Sunday at Salem Church at Pinegrove, 312 Combs Ferry Road, Pastor Don Stanley will present the first of a two part series of sermons on “Seeds and Weeds.” Worship at the “Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus” begins at 11 a.m.

Tribute Quartet at Providence Baptist

The Tribute Quartet is going to be at Providence Baptist Church, 6543 Old Boonesboro Road, at 7 p.m. Friday, July 14, at 7 p.m.  Please come join us in fellowship and music. The concert is free and a love offering will be accepted.

Singing at Outreach Ministry

There will be a gospel singing by The Barnett Family from  Richmond at 6 p.m. Saturday at Outreach Ministry Church, 8 Bloomfield Road.

Celebrate Recovery meetings

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the eight beatitudes, the 12 steps and their biblical comparisons. There is childcare available for ages newborn to 4 years and Celebration Place, a pre-covery program for ages 5 to 12. The meetings are every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Calvary Christian Church, 15 Redwing Drive. The Landing is a support program based on the eight beatitudes for teens. Meetings are from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Tuesdays at the Redwing Campus.
