Allan D. Baber

Allan D. Baber, 69, of Winchester, husband of Brenda Moore Baber for 47 years, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

He was born on March 17, 1948 in Winchester to the late Edward A. Baber and Mae Belle Duvall Baber. Allan was a member and served as deacon of First Baptist Church, Winchester. He was an owner and partner with ASI, Inc. and in retirement a consultant with Mettler-Toldeo. He was a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Kentucky University before serving in the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his wife, Brenda, survivors include two sons, Brian A. (Heather) Baber of Winchester and Brandon M. (Mandy) Baber of Bedford, VA; six grandchildren, Hayden Baber, Emerson Baber, Lincoln Baber, Eden Baber, Avery Baber and Ashton Baber; one brother, Richard B. Baber of Clearwater, Florida; one brother-in-law, Marcus E. Moore and family.

Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00PM, Monday, July 17, 2017 at Scobee Funeral with Rev. Don Burkhead officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:30PM until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church, 32 East Lexington Avenue, Winchester, KY 40391.
