David Howard Pitts, 74, of Brentwood, Tennessee, passed away on July 17, 2017 peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loving family at the Williamson County Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on July 25, 2017, at Scobee Funeral Home by Dr. Ed Mesta. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Winchester Cemetery. 

David was born in Winchester, Kentucky on September 2, 1942. He graduated from Shelbyville High School. David was married to Patricia A. (Dover) Pitts on March 6, 1965; they were married 52 years.

David was a career U.S. Air Force Vietnam-era veteran and a career I.T. Systems Analyst. He enjoyed reading, camping, Boy Scouts, traveling and volunteering. David is survived by his mother, Mabel, his wife, Patricia; his two children, Michael and his wife Michelle; Brian and his wife Suzanne; his 4 grandchildren Alex, Eric, John and Lauren; his sister; and the rest of his family and friends. David is preceded in death by his father, Howard H. Pitts.
