— Bluegrass Heritage Museum Second Thursday program, 6:30 p.m. at museum, 217 S. Main St. Guest speaker will be Jacqueline Kohl of the Kentucky Humanities Council on women authors of Kentucky. This presentation includes interactive readings from the Kentucky women — and the surprise ending of one Kentucky woman who literally “laid down” in front of a bulldozer only to later stand up at the White House. Program is free, and refreshments will be served.

— Car show for Team Hunter and Team Liam, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Campbell Junior High School, 620 Boone Ave. Hunter Cooper and Liam Warren are Clark County children who were recently diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. All proceeds from the show will benefit the families. Registration is $20 per entry. There will be 14 class awards, a Cars and Bikes 5ft Club participation award, free model car and wagon entry for kids, 50/50 raffle items, door prizes and music.
