LEXINGTON — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways will have crews cleaning drains along Interstate 64 this week in Clark and Fayette counties.

A mobile operation for drain cleaning will continue daily from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Friday. The work includes both east and westbound directions between mile points 82 in Fayette County and 96 in Clark County.

Drain cleaning will be in effect on the inside shoulder and against the barrier wall and includes both east and westbound directions. Drain cleaning is a mobile operation. Motorists should be aware of signage directing of the work.
