CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Travis Robison, 18, of 156 E. Washington St., was charged Thursday with driving under the influence (second offense).

— Karrie R. McGuire, 37, of Gray, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence (second offense) and possession of open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

— Holly K. Daniel, 34, of Lenoir, North Carolina, was charged Sunday with receiving stolen property.

Reports

— At 5:59 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 5109 Colby Road after someone broke into a residence and stole a vehicle.

— At 1:50 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 307 Devonshire Drive after someone entered the caller’s vehicle and took a number of items.

— At 3:10 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 609 Sewell Shop Road after someone stole several items from a vehicle.

— At 1:49 a.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 423 Shawnee Trail concerning a theft of medication from a purse. Holly Daniel was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property.

— At 9:09 a.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 2136 Mount Sterling Road after a gate was damaged.

— At 3:37 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to the Value Stay Inn, 5100 Revilo Road, concerning an attempted robbery. The suspect fled the scene.

Accidents

— At 5:53 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 95 mile marker in which Richard S. Johnson of Glendale was traveling east. Johnson said he was driving slowly because of a blown tire on his tractor trailer. Karrie R. McGuire of Gray was also driving east and struck the truck, which caused her vehicle to overturn. McGuire was ejected and was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Darrell Leon Carpenter, 41, was charged Friday with disregarding a stop sign, driving on a suspended operator’s license, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Daniel Blake Higdon, 22, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence.

— Drew Alan Isaacs, 18, was charged Friday with possession of marijuana and disregarding a stop sign.

— Matthew Allen Moore, 28, was charged Sunday with first-degree criminal trespassing.

— At 1:02 p.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning a burglary and theft from July 19.

— At 7:11 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 1623 Bypass Road concerning a theft of a purse and wallet from a vehicle.

— At 7:50 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 1100 Enterprise Drive concerning a stolen firearm.

— At 11:39 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 1100 Enterprise Drive concerning an assault.

— At 1:36 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 1100 Enterprise Drive concerning an assault.

— At 2:24 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 102 W. Hickman St. concerning a vehicle being vandalized.

— At 9:29 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to Silverton Way and Pepperwood Court concerning a man and woman looking for unlocked vehicles.

— At 11:49 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 105 April Way for a littering and dumping complaint.

— At 5:59 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 17 Phillips Court concerning a stolen scooter.

— At 8:19 p.m. Saturday, officers ere called to 843 Bypass Road concerning a stolen cell phone from a vehicle.

— At 12:15 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to Church Alley and Lexington Avenue concerning an assault.

— At 2:02 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 21 E. Broadway St. concerning and assault and theft.

— At 5:07 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 300 C.G. Stephenson Drive concerning a disturbance.

— At 12:29 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 109 Spruce Court concerning a stolen lawn mower and bicycles.

— At 4:32 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 1934 Bypass Road concerning a stolen purse form a vehicle.

— At 8:18 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 200 Woodbine Court after someone shot a garage window.

— At 9:13 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 208 College St. concerning people inside a condemned building. Matthew Alan Moore was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal trespassing.

Accidents

— At 10:57 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to an injury accident on Bullion Boulevard in which Shawnee M. Wortham of 128 Andover Drive had to be extricated from her car by Winchester firefighters. Her car came to rest about 125 feet from the road in a creaked surrounded by trees. Wortham was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center after complaining of neck and back pain. No other vehicles were involved.

— At 5:25 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to an injury accident ton Winn Avenue in which 5-year-old  Autumn Peck of 304 Springmist Lane ran in front of an oncoming car, driven by Brenda Johnson of 688 Market St. Peck’s father told police they were holding hands and waiting to cross the street when she ran. Johnson said she attempted to avoid the child, but her car’s exterior mirror struck the child. Peck was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, emergency personnel responded to 40 general medical calls, five cardiac cases, two diabetic cases, two strokes and one seizure.

— At 9:58 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a fire in the basement at 7 Calloway St.

— At 2:57 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 238 Catherine Drive to assist Clark County firefighters with a tire fire.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 8:29 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on the Mountain Parkway near the 5 mile marker.

— At 5:53 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 94 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 6:33 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 11220 Irvine Road.

— At 2:54 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a garbage fire in the Yeiser Industrial Park.

— At 5:59 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Irvine and Wills Rupard roads.

— At 3:52 a.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 844 Epperson Road.
