Services at First Presbyterian Church

“Building guidelines for life, community and the world,” will be the message at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Scriptures will be read from Luke 6:46-49 and Hebrews 10:23-25. Worship will be lively and traditional. Come dressed casual or formal, but more importantly, come expecting to be moved by the Spirit. Revival at Log Lick Christian

Log Lick Christian Church will host Brother Larry Mulholland with Mission Journeys for revival services at 7 p.m. nightly Aug. 7-11. There will be special music each night. Homecoming services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 13 with a meal following service.

Revival at COLG

Services at Salem Church at Pinegrove

This Sunday, the folks at Salem Church at Pinegrove, 312 Combs Ferry Road, Winchester, will celebrate the sacrament of Communion and consider its meaning by looking at its various names. Worship at “The Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus” begins at 11 a.m.

Benefit concert at First Presbyterian

Shawn Stinson and Kyri Demby will be in concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive. The concert will be a powerful night of soul, jazz, blues and gospel music to lift your spirit and build up the community. Offering will be collected to benefit three organizations: Clark County Community Services, Clark County Homeless Coalition and Habitat for Humanity of Madison and Clark Counties. Also featured will be Luke Cantrell, Cassie Shields, John Shields and more.

Celebrate Recovery meetings on Tuesdays

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the eight beatitudes, the 12 steps and their biblical comparisons. This program is for any hurt, hang-up or habit. There is childcare available for ages newborn to 4 years and Celebration Place, a pre-covery program for ages 5 to 12. The meetings are every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Calvary Christian Church, 15 Redwing Drive.
