Revival at Log Lick Christian
Log Lick Christian Church will host Brother Larry Mulholland with Mission Journeys for revival services at 7 p.m. today. There will be special music each night. Homecoming services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, with a meal following service.
Gospel singing
at Outreach Ministry
There will be a gospel singing at 6 p.m. Saturday at Outreach Ministry Church, 8 Bloomfield Road, featuring the Smith Sisters from Irvine.
Penrod at Central Baptist
Central Baptist Church, 101 W. Lexington Ave, will host Guy Penrod “Pray About Everything” at 6 p.m. Aug. 27. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door and can be purchased by calling the church office at 744-4328.
Services at Salem Church at Pinegrove
Life is full of storms, but Christ promises to help us weather them. Find out more this Sunday at Salem Church at Pinegrove, 312 Combs Ferry Road, Winchester. Worship at “The Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus” begins at 11 a.m.
Benefit concert
at First Presbyterian
Shawn Stinson and Kyri Demby will be in concert at 7 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive. The concert will be a powerful night of soul, jazz, blues and gospel music to lift your spirit and build up the community. Offering will be collected to benefit three organizations: Clark County Community Services, Clark County Homeless Coalition and Habitat for Humanity of Madison and Clark Counties. Also featured will be Luke Cantrell, Cassie Shields, John Shields and more.
Celebrate Recovery meetings on Tuesdays
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the eight beatitudes, the 12 steps and their biblical comparisons. This program is for any hurt, hang-up or habit. There is childcare available for ages newborn to 4 years and Celebration Place, a pre-covery program for ages 5 to 12. The meetings are every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Calvary Christian Church, 15 Redwing Drive. The Landing is a support program based on the eight beatitudes for teens. The meetings are from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Tuesdays at the Redwing Campus.
