SUSAN CAROL (JORDAN) BLANTON

Susan Carol (Jordan) Blanton, 61, of Powder Springs, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Cobb General Hospital in Marietta, Georgia, in the presence of her husband, Dempsey Blanton.

Susan was born December 8, 1955 in Winchester to the late Rodney and Ruth Jordan. She was a retired employee of South Central Bell and AT&T.

In addition to her husband, Susan is survived by two children, JaTonya Denise Evans and Stephen Tyrell Blanton, as well as two grandchildren, JaLina Ruth Evans and Jonathan Tyrell Campbell. Susan is also survived by two brothers, Rickey Allen Jordan and Jimmy Dale (Kim) Jordan, both of Winchester. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Susan was also preceded in death by her Mother and Father-in-law, Ora Lee Davis and Dempsey James Blanton of Winchester.

A Celebration of Life memorial gathering will be held Thursday, August 24th at Trinity Church of God, 285 Winn Avenue, Winchester, KY from 5 to 7pm. Friends and family can send flowers, pictures, or memorials to the church between 2 and 5pm the same day. Please join us in her loving memory.
