— Jason Woosley, 37, of Clay City, was charged Thursday with first-degree trafficking in methamphetamine, receiving stolen property (firearm) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Aaron Jones, 32, of Blueberry Lane, was charged Friday with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and was served a warrant.

Reports

— At 2:49 a.m. Friday, deputies were called to Blueberry Lane concerning a person throwing glass bottles. While speaking with a person in a parked vehicle near the scene, deputies smelled marijuana and found a plastic bag in the vehicle with suspected methamphetamine. Aaron Jones was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 6:10 a.m. Thursday, deputies were called to Morris Road concerning a single-vehicle accident. No one was around the vehicle. The car’s owner said it was stolen in Clark County about a week ago, but did not report it stolen.

— At 9:27 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to 537 Constitution Drive concerning two people pointing a flashlight through the windows of a residence. During a search of the two subjects, deputies found a small amount of methamphetamine, plastic bags and two syringes. Deputies also found three firearms in the vehicle, one of which was reported stolen from Estill County. Jason Woosley was arrested on multiple charges.

FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, emergency personnel responded to 16 general medical calls, two cardiac cases and one diabetic case.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 9:17 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Muddy Creek and Old Muddy Creek roads.

— At 10:05 a.m. Thursday, firefighters were called to Cottman Lane for a smell of gas.

— At 3:53 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Rocky Top Lane.

— At 11:32 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Water Works Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Charles Leon Harrison, 59, was charged Thursday with theft by unlawful taking.

Reports

— At 8:44 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to Bloomfield Road and Forest Avenue for a domestic disturbance. Charles Leon Harrison was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 11:14 a.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning a forged check.

— At 1:31 p.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning the fraudulent use of a credit card at Lowe’s.
