Charlotte H. Schnittker, 91, of Winchester, widow of Max A. Schnittker, passed away Wednesday at her home. A native of Winchester, she was born June 25, 1926, to the late Cecil and Kathryn Strode Haggard. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the church Missionary Society, Fort Knightly, Winchester Country Club; she attended The University of Kentucky and Centre College and was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She is survived by son, Reed H. (Cindy) Schnittker of Plano, TX, daughter, Kathryn Lee (Dirk) Van Renesse of Marietta, GA, grandchildren, Max Schnittker, Victoria Schnittker, Nicole Van Renesse, Chad Van Renesse, Louis (Lauren) Adams and Kristin (Brennan) Nugent. Funeral service will be Friday at 5pm at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., with Dr. John Owen presiding. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3pm until the hour of service.
